- Will give a brief summary of UAF geodetic work at the Alaska Geospatial Council meeting on Wednesday, January 7
SEISMOACOUSTIC - David Fee:
- AGU went well; the conference was smaller than usual, but had strong sessions and good feedback
- Resubmitted the Shishaldin seismoacoustic overview paper over the break
- Group update: Karenna is out sick today; it’s Logan's last week; Serina will be back in office on Wednesday
- Serving as AVO Duty Seismologist and Primary Alarm this week
GEOLOGY - Pavel Izbekov:
- Just returned from traveling after AGU
- Attended the Alaska-Aleutian pre-AGU workshop, in which had great discussion with Terry Plank, Diana Roman, and many others; the workshop discussed where the next big experiment at Aleutians should be
+ Jessica Larsen:
- Jess is pretty booked till late January: Teaching two courses this semester; involved in a very large critical mineral project for the GI
- Will continue AVO work: she has been working on CoMeet preparation and Makushin raw data files which has been going back and forth with Jordan for review
GAS - Taryn Lopez:
- No satellite SO2 detections seen over the past week; Cleveland DOAS observations over the past week was less than 500.
- Melissa is working with David Danby at CalVO this week
WEB/DATABASE - Israel Brewster:
- Making tweaks on multi-plot tool for new incoming data streams
- Looking to dive into a new geodesy project with Mario and Ronni
