56.64 N, 161.32 E; Elevation 3283 m (10768 ft), the dome elevation ~2500 m (8200 ft)

A growth of the lava dome continues, a strong fumarolic activity, an incandescence of the lava dome, explosions, and hot avalanches accompanies this process. Satellite data by KVERT showed a thermal anomaly over the volcano.

BEZYMIANNY VOLCANO (CAVW #300250)
55.97 N, 160.6 E; Elevation 2882 m (9453 ft)

An extrusive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues, a strong fumarolic activity, an incandescence of the lava dome, and hot avalanches accompanies this process. The paroxysmal phase of the explosive eruption occurred: several strong explosions sent ash up to 10-15 km a.s.l.; by the end of the day, ash cloud 1860x200 km in size was located on the distance 2133 km to the southeast of the volcano.

A moderate activity of the volcano continues. Satellite data by KVERT showed a thermal anomaly over the volcano.
