(11) Volcanic Activity Summary: | Strong activity of the volcano continues. Satellite data showed an ash column rose up to 11 km a.s.l., and an ash plume is extending for 2255 km to the east-south-east of the volcano.
The summit explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 15 km (49,200 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft. |
