(11) Volcanic Activity Summary:According to Tokyo VAAC data, and satellite data by KVERT, explosions sent ash up to 4 km a.s.l. at 05:45 UTC on 11 April. Ash plume continues to drift to the south-east of the volcano.

A moderate explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 8-9 km (23,000-29,500 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
