According to satellite data, a gas-steam plume containing some amount of ash is extending for 65 km to the northeast of the volcano. A moderate explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 7-8 km (23,000-26,200 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
