The strong explosive events were noted at the volcano on 07 August, 2022, last time. Ash clouds moved for 550 km to the southwest and southeast of the volcano. After that, the temperature of the thermal anomaly over the volcano gradually decreased. Satellite data by KVERT shows that sometimes the volcano and its crater have been covered in snow for the past few days. KVERT continues to monitor the Karymsky volcano.\n\nThe gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft. But the danger of ash explosions up to 12 km (39,400 ft) a.s.l. is remains.
