(11) Volcanic Activity Summary: | Moderate gas-steam activity of the volcano continues, but ash plumes were observed on 22 April last time. According to satellite data by KVERT, a weak thermal anomaly over the volcano continues to observing, but it was on 15 May last time. KVERT continues to monitor the volcano.
A moderate activity of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 16,400-19,700 ft (5-6 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft. |
