(11) Volcanic Activity Summary: | The new phase of the explosive eruption of Chikurachki volcano began around 00:30UTC on 30 June, 2022. The explosions sent ash up to 4.5 km a.s.l., ash plume continues to move to the southwest of the volcano.
An eruptive activity of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 6 km (19,700 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft. |
