(11) Volcanic Activity Summary: | An activity of the volcano increased. Satellite data by KVERT showed a thermal anomaly over the volcano on 20-22 March. It is assumed that the ice cover of the lake has melted. Explosive activity of the volcano is possible.
An activity of the volcano increased. Ash explosions up to 16,400-23,000 ft (5-7 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft. |
