(11) Volcanic Activity Summary: | The explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Satellite data by KVERT showed an ash column rose up to 9 km a.s.l., and an ash plume is extending for 255 km to the east of the volcano.
The summit explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 10-12 km (32,800-39400 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft. |
