The meteorological conditions (cyclones) in the northern part of Kamchatka caused a strong increased a gas-steam activity of the volcano, on the background of which, on December 26, explosive events repeatedly occurred with ash emission up to 6-9 km a.s.l. Ash clouds continues to drift to the north-west from the volcano. \n\nExplosive-extrusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 26,200-49,200 ft (8-15 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
