A strong wind lifted ash from the eastern slopes of Sheveluch volcano on 04-05 September, 2022. Satellite data by KVERT shows: a plume of resuspended ash is not observe from 20:00 UTC on 05 September, 2022. KVERT continues to monitor Sheveluch volcano.\n\nThe extrusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 10-15 km (32,800-49,200 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
