The ash explosions were noted on 26 September last time (ash rose up to 3 km a.s.l., ash plume extended for 54 km to the southwest of the volcano). Perhaps the pause in the explosive activity of the volcano will last 2-3 months. KVERT continues to monitor Karymsky volcano. \n\nA moderate gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. A danger of ash emission up to 7-8 km (23,000-26,200 ft) a.s.l. at any time is remains. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircrafts.
