However, a large hot lava flow lying in the Apakhonchichsky chute, continues to provoke the collapses of old pyroclastic material from the sides of the chute. Video and satellite data by KVERT shows a plume of resuspended ash is extending for 150 km to the east-south-east of the volcano. \n\nA fumarole activity of the summit crater of the Klyuchevskoy volcano is observed. However, collapses of old pyroclastic material from the sides of the Apakhonchichsky chute remains. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
