The lava flow continues to move along Apakhonchich chute on the southeastern volcanic flank. Strong explosions together with the collapses of the chute sides were observed from 17:45 to 18:40 UTC on 07 October. Satellite data showed a large bright thermal anomaly in an area of the volcano; ash plume continues to extending to the southeast of the volcano.\n\nA moderate explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 19,700-23,000 ft (6-7 km) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect low-flying aircraft.
