Satellite data by KVERT showed explosions sent ash up to 5 km a.s.l. at 0345 UTC on 11 January. Ash cloud 7x7 km in size continues to drift to the southwest of the volcano.\n\nA moderate gas-steam activity of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 10 km (32,800 ft) a.s.l. could occur at any time. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
