A growth of the lava dome continues, a strong fumarolic activity sometimes with some amount of ash, and an incandescence of the dome blocks and hot avalanches accompanies this process. According to visual data by volcanologists from Severo-Kurilsk, explosions sent ash up to 3 km a.s.l. on 30 November, and 01-02 and 05 December; ash clouds drifted to the east and northeast from the volcano.
