Satellite data by KVERT showed an ash column rose up to 6-6.5 km a.s.l., and an ash plume is extending for 358 km to the north-northeast of the volcano.\n\nThe summit explosive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues. A danger of ash explosions up to 10 km (32,800 ft) a.s.l. remains. Ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft.
