KVERT DAILY REPORT Kamchatkan and Kuriles Volcanic Activity September 04, 2022, all time is UTC SHEVELUCH VOLCANO (CAVW #300270) 56.64 N, 161.32 E; Elevation 3283 m (10768 ft), the dome elevation ~2500 m (8200 ft) Aviation Colour Code is ORANGE A growth of the lava dome continues, a strong fumarolic activity, an incandescence of the lava dome, explosions, and hot avalanches accompanies this process. Satellite data by KVERT showed an resuspended ash plume extended about 200 km to the east from the volcano, and a thermal anomaly over the volcano. KLYUCHEVSKOY VOLCANO (CAVW #300260) 56.06 N, 160.64 E; Elevation 4750 m (15580 ft) Aviation Colour Code is ORANGE Klyuchevskoy volcano is quiet. A strong wind lifts ash from the eastern slope of the Klyuchevskoy volcano, a plume of resuspended ash extends 180 km east of the volcano. KARYMSKY VOLCANO (CAVW #300130) 54.05 N, 159.44 E; Elevation 1486 m (4874 ft) Aviation Colour Code is ORANGE A moderate activity of the volcano continues. Satellite data by KVERT showed a thermal anomaly over the volcano. EBEKO VOLCANO (CAVW #290380) 50.69 N, 156.01 E; Elevation 1156 m (3792 ft) Aviation Colour Code is ORANGE A moderate eruptive activity of the volcano continues. According to visual data by volcanologists from Severo-Kurilsk, explosions sent ash up to 4 km a.s.l., ash clouds drifted to the east and south-east of the volcano. Satellite data by KVERT showed an ash plumes and clouds extended about 50 km to the east of the volcano. CHIKURACHKI VOLCANO (CAVW #290360) 50.32 N, 155.46 E; Elevation 1816 m (5956 ft) Aviation Colour Code is ORANGE A moderate eruptive activity of the volcano continues. Satellite data by KVERT showed the volcano was quiet. BEZYMIANNY VOLCANO (CAVW #300250) 55.97 N, 160.6 E; Elevation 2882 m (9453 ft) Aviation Colour Code is YELLOW An extrusive-effusive eruption of the volcano continues, a strong fumarolic activity, an incandescence of the lava dome, and hot avalanches accompanies this process.
