Hi Ray - Yes, we migrated to a new webserver about a week ago and are aware of the 12 hr playback problem, and are actively fixing it. There are no easy places for a camera to view Bogoslof - the nearest islands are about 50 miles away, and are remote (no power, no existing telecommunication infrastructure). The FAA has a webcam in Dutch Harbor that sometimes sees Bogoslof's ash plumes, rising above the mountains on Unalaska island. I do note that the 12 hr repeat of ea camera(or it's vid-image storage)has switched back to last year or some other erroneous date/time. It has been like that for 7-10 days. Secondarily, it sure is a shame that there are no cameras on Bogoslof. Be great to watch that activity as it happens. Hello Robert - We migrated to a new webserver, and are aware of a problem with our webcam "12 hour" videos, and are working to fix it. The "current images" are displaying the most recent image we have for each camera. Some of these cameras are no longer working for the winter, but the functioning ones should appear fine. Hi Michael - Well, the Duty Sci really did send the report out as ORANGE/WARNING, which is allowed under the current notification scheme (https://volcanoes.usgs.gov/vhp/alert_icons.html ) but I bet they did mean ORANGE/WATCH. At any rate, it's RED/WARNING now, and I'll ask them to be careful whenever we do move it back to ORANGE.
