Hello Ginnie -
This would be a great feature for us to add in the future - right now, it would be a large undertaking as the webicorders just display the webicorder data, and are not linked to any earthquake location database.
Thank you,
cheryl

Sorry my email is not working at the moment, but this is not something that needs a personal answer. Lately I have found MAJOR amplitude on the webicorder(WC) of Redoubt and when I looked at other WC in Alaska they too had the same type of swinging values, but there was NO comment on the pages of Redoubt. But when I later looked at the USGS (as I normally do every day) I found the great earthquake out in the chain of the Aleuthian islands. I would be glad if there would be possible to add a standard line like "There has been a strong earthquake that will make the webicorders show strong activity. For more information of this see /and here you add the url for the best page of the USGS reports/)". Perhaps there could also be a note about this more generally in the information about how to "read" the webicorders. Best spring greetings from Uppsala and Ginnie.
