Hello Robyn - Yes, we monitor Augustine with satellite, webcam, and seismic instruments. There are no above-background readings at this time. Steam at Augustine is often visible (either from fumaroles or the cooling lava dome), particularly under certain atmospheric conditions. Thank you for your interest, Cheryl Cameron -------- Robyn McBride wrote: I was just wondering if you have taken a look at Augustine. She seems to be putting out a bit of steam and there looks to be a hot spot just to the right of the dome? The Webicorder seams a bit active recently as well. -- Cheryl Cameron Geologist, Alaska Volcano Observatory Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys voice: 907-451-5012 fax: 907-451-5050
