Dear Cheryl,

Thank you so much for your email - Pavel kindly got in touch with me confirming the authorization and sent me a high resolution.

We intend to use five more images from your data archive and I would like to know if it could also be authorized:

The images would be reproduced in the collection of the Olavo Setubal Chair of Art, Culture and Science - and to make its actions feasible, the Chair has resources from the University of São Paulo and Itaú Cultural, without any profit. Thus, the use of the licensed images is exclusively academic and aims to encourage discussions both in the scientific community and in society in general.

Please let me know if you have further questions,
Thank you again,
warm regards,

Gabriella

Hello Gabriella -

Yes, you may use the image, with a credit line to Pavel Izbekov, Jill Shipman, the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute, and the Alaska Volcano Observatory.
Our form does not allow attachments, so I do not know which exact image you're looking at, but if you go to where you found the image on our website, and look near the bottom of the page, you'll see a link to the "full size" version of the image. Whatever is at that link is the highest resolution version that we have.

Thank you,
Cheryl

Good morning,
My name is Gabriella and I'm working for a scientific publication here in São paulo, Brazil.
The publication is sponsored by USP - São paulo University. I would like to know about the attached image use authorization from University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
The image is from Pavel Izbekov and Jill Shipman.
Does the archive have it in a bigger resolution?

Thank you so much for your time,
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Warm regards.
