Hi Amy, Thank you for sending your observation to us. It definitely wasn't a volcanic eruption, but if you send your photo to cheryl.cameron@alaska.gov we might be able to figure out what you did see. Thank you, Cheryl I was on Kasilof beach at about 11.20 and saw a plume rising from a volcano between Redoubt and Spur (Twin Glacier). There was red magma visible for a few seconds flowing down the side of the mountain. I have a photo with the smoke, but not the magma.
