Hi Albert, Thank you for reaching out to us. We have examined this pilot report -- satellite data gives strong indications that the source of the smell is from a volcano in Russia and not Spurr. We are always glad for observer reports; thank you again for contacting us. Cheryl Cameron Inbound flight to Anchorage on the evening of 12 Nov 24 reported the strong smell of sulphur. Anchorage approach was controlling the flight when the report was made.
