Hi Christmann, AVO is a partnership between three public organizations. Opportunities working (including volunteering) with AVO would be specifically advertised under these three organizations. Opportunities with the USGS usually require U.S. citizenship. Employment with the State of Alaska often requires Alaska residency, and student opportunities with the University of Alaska Fairbanks typically require enrollment at UAF as a full-time student. Currently, there are no AVO-affliated student positions at UAF. If there are employment positions with AVO, you'd find them on the appropriate partner's HR webpage. Thanks, -Seth -------- Christmann Vincent wrote: Dear Ms, I'm a young graduated (I got my master in volcanology in June 2012) French guy. I search an opportunity to work as a technician in volcano monitoring. I already worked 5 months in Colima (Mexico) where I used a thermal camera and a spectrometer to analyze the gas content in plumes. If you are interested please feel free to contact me and I will join you my CV.
