Dear Fenia,
Thank you for your interest in AVO and our work, but we are not able to accommodate this request at this time.

Dear all,
My name is Fenia Chala and I work as a journalist. At the moment I am working on a research project that has as its aim to find certain profiles of people around the world, people who have a strong link with nature due to the way they live, in order to create a video portrait to tell this story. In order to understand the philosophy and the visual approach of this project, please watch the story of a Greek Fisherman (https://www.xterraplanet.com/x-discovery/my-sons-i-give-to-you) which we have already produced, as this is the way we want to work on this story as well.
One of the portraits we would like to pursue is that of a scientist who due to his/her focus area is out there working in the field, actually exploring nature, trying to interpret its signs and above all respecting and protecting it. One of the scientific fields that is somewhat less covered by filmmakers due to the challenging conditions in the field is that of volcanology. The reason I am contacting you is because we would like to follow a scientist with her/his team on a mission (or existing observatory) on an active volcano, spend a few days with the team to witness what these people do and give a meaning to the very few things we know about this extremely interesting field of work.
Therefore I am contacting you first of all to explore whether you would be interested in providing us your invaluable help to pursue this research and after that has been established, to ask for further information for upcoming missions or existing observatories we could approach.
I don't want to bother you with more information and details, but I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you very much for taking time to read my message, I will be at your disposal at any given moment.
Kind regards,
Fenia Chala
