Hi Ms. Needom - Sorry to write you again - but I just realized that another AVO staffer replied to you earlier. Apologies for all the duplicate emails! Sending photographs to either John or myself will get them in AVO's records safely. Thank you again for reaching out to us, cheryl -------- Susan L Needom wrote: I have four photos of the eruption. In 1974 my Aunt worked as a Librarian on the naval base. A friend gave her a copy of his photos that he took when he was out photographing the landscape. The volcano began to erupt as he was taking his photographs. My Aunt lived to be 100 yrs old. She gave the photos to me around 2000 and asked that I give them to someone who might want them.I will be glad to mail them to you. Send me the address and I will package them safely and mail them to you.
