Hi Ted, We can’t say exactly when a volcanic event will happen. We issue warnings like these when we see the conditions that have led to eruptions in the past at this or other volcanoes. Sometimes we can give a time frame for when we think something might happen, but never an exact prediction. Thanks, AVO How close is Tanaga from blowing it's top?
