Re: Pearson Permission Request
Hello Jeamweal, Yes, you may use the image in your book. However, the information in it is outdated - it was made in 2008 and has not been updated to reflect changes in the monitoring equipment at Okmok volcano. If you would like to use the shaded relief image of Okmok that this image was made from (without the stations), you could use this publication: https://dggs.alaska.gov/pubs/id/7041 . This DEM is pre-2008 eruption. For a post-2008 DEM we have this one: https://dggs.alaska.gov/pubs/id/23223 Thank you, cheryl Hi, I am writing on behalf of Pearson Education Inc., to seek permission to use your image in our book titled Physical Geography Laboratory Manual: A Landscape Appreciation authored by Darrel Hess. The said image will be used as one of the illustration in this book. Link to the image we are requesting: https://avo.alaska.edu/images/image.php?id=14363 Looking forward for your positive response. Thank you so much for taking time to read my message, have a good day!
