Hello Nina - AVO is composed of three agencies - the USGS, the State of Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Geophysical Institute. It looks like the Pathways Program is through the US Dept of State, and therefore might tie in with the USGS branch of AVO. However, I am not aware of any current Pathways positions at AVO. I think you should contact Pathways for more information: https://careers.state.gov/work/pathways AVO does occasionally have an ANSEP (Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program) intern, a UAF intern/research assistant position, or a Mendenhall post-doc position.
