Hello Thomas - There is an ongoing tectonic earthquake swarm near Aniakchak, but it is not related to volcanism. Artillery at JBER does not affect plate tectonics. We are not seeing an increased rate of earthquakes. Did You Feel It is run by the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program - here's a link to their URL: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/data/dyfi/ Thank you, Cheryl Cameron -------- Thomas Kopaceski wrote: Which volcano is near this crater. It seems to be really active since April. I also notice, since Ft. R and E are firing artillery, there has been allot more shaking of the tetonic plates. Can the impact in the Turnagain increase the shaking of the plates? Also, the new earthquake site had; Did you feel it? Where did it move to? I live in the Houston area and we felt the quake on April 7, 2016.
