Just one remark. When it is the case, described in the Common questions, that the ip-camera's are shutdown after sunset till dawn next morning, in order to save battery life, then this fact would immediately noticed by my javascript, since there is no image at all to load [img tag shows a broken line on screen --the webcam snapshot is embedded in my online slideshow, which runs in a loop ]. But at my surprise the image of the webcam continues to load, even in total darkness, which can also be seen at the time stamp in the upper left corner. This means that the webcam is also powered during the night and so not shut down. I guess that the images are wireless transmitted to your network, which also consumes power, as does switching on and off by a timer. [Maybe it is a better idea to recharge the battery by sunlight at daytime].
