Hello Tanya - Can you tell us where you are at, and which direction you were looking? If you have any photos, we would appreciate seeing them. Our satellite views of Cleveland are obscured by clouds. Thank you for the observations! -Cheryl -------- Tanya Lestenkof wrote: My husband and I were out riding this evening around 7:00PM Anchorage time. We saw a pretty steady black plume, which would grow very large and then subside back to a steady level, for about 30 minutes. I don't think it stopped, it's just some low lying clouds began to obscure it. Wind is blowing in the wrong direction for us to receive any ash fall. -- Cheryl Cameron Geologist, Alaska Volcano Observatory Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys voice: 907-451-5012
