Re: Gareloi Volcano- Long Period Seismicity?
Hello Scott - The seismologist I talked to said 'normal Gareloi earthquakes' and 'yup' to the Pavlof tremor comment. :) Those two stations are the only ones working at Gareloi, and as far as I know, we have no plans (or $) to go revive stations on Gareloi. So, I am well, but our stations are not! Thanks, cheryl -------- Scott wrote: Hi, Just wondering if anyone is seeing those signatures at GAEA, which seem to be confirming at GALA- and those two are the only stations that seem to be working right at the moment...at least for me, right off the public AVO WWS. Also, was surprised at the extremely low amplitude of that tremor at Pavlof. That hardly even confirms at PVV, a mere 5 km from PS4A. Hope you are well Cheryl! ;) Thanks, Scott -- Cheryl Cameron Geologist, Alaska Volcano Observatory Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys voice: 907-451-5012 fax: 907-451-5050
