I am currently following a double formation that will lead to two diplomas at the end of the year: A geologist engineer diploma and an MSc in Earth sciences focused on geochemistry and petrology. I am writing to you because I need to find a 4 to 6 months long project to complete my engineer formation from June, and I am fond of volcanoes and volcanology since I am at the age of 4. Moreover next year I wish to continue my studies by doing a PhD in physical volcanology, so I think working for the AVO during half a year would be a perfect experience. Besides, as a French student I need to improve my skills in English so it is a good opportunity to do so. What is more I really like working on the field and I have good skills thanks to the numerous fieldtrips I did during my education, and I also have a good knowledge of the methods used to monitor volcanoes. .
