Hi Joanne, Good to hear from you! We don't have any recent documentaries, I'm afraid. We've been working on some videos this year, but as it's really just me working on them when I have spare time, it's not going very fast! I looked through our papers published in the last few years and selected a couple that might be useful to you. Here's the latest version of our map of recently active volcanoes, just for something nice to display: https://avo.alaska.edu/explore/reference/15864 In 2018 there was an update to the National Volcanic Threat Assessment, which is a nice document to understand the hazards of all our volcanoes. https://avo.alaska.edu/explore/reference/13881 You might be interested in the ongoing effort to create a unified system for monitoring volcanoes and responding to eruptions country-wide: https://avo.alaska.edu/explore/reference/15777 This is pretty dry, but if you want to read up on the latest procedures in case of ash-producing eruptions in Cook Inlet: https://avo.alaska.edu/explore/reference/3996 (the 2022 version) Oh, and you might find this paper interesting, given your fishing charters: https://avo.alaska.edu/explore/reference/15903. Influences on mercury levels in rainbow trout in Katmai and Lake Clark including affects from volcanoes. And if you're not completely sick of reading by then, you can always catch up on our volcanoes' year-to-year activity with our annual summaries! https://avo.alaska.edu/explore/search/annual-summaries You've probably heard that Spurr is at YELLOW at the moment? I know it's a ways away for you, but it's a good reminder to make sure you're signed up for alerts through the Volcano Notification System https://volcanoes.usgs.gov/vns2/. That's the best way to make sure you hear right away about anything going on that might affect your lodge. You can customize which volcanoes you want to receive alerts about. Hope that helps! Abbey Nastan AVO Staff ---------------------------------------------------------- Hi, my name is Joanne and my husband (David Coray) and I own Silver Salmon Creek Lodge, 15 miles to the east of Iliamna Volcano and 36 miles to the southwest of Redoubt Volcano. We have hosted your volcanologists in the past which was fascinating! We haven't heard a lot in the past several years and we are always interested in any new information, studies etc regarding anything having to do with Iliamna, Redoubt, Augustine or Spurr. Do you have any documentaries? Thanks so much, Joanne 303-378-0661
