Hi David - Thank you for this prompt to clean up our public webicorder page a little! Yes, ISLZ and SSLN aren't working properly, but SSBA and ISSN are working well - if you look underneath the "ISLZ" chunk you'll find the other stations. I made changes just now so that hopefully the non-functioning ISLZ and SSLN don't show up anymore (it'll take a while to roll through), so clicking on Shishaldin should take people directly to a working station instead of the currently not-working ISLZ. Thank you, and all the good folks at AAWU! Cheryl -------- David Barber, forecaster at AAWU wrote: Friends, The Shisaldin web recorder on your web site has been down for a long while. I note that you refer to seismic data from Shishaldin in your daily update so you must have access to an alternative to the one the web page. Any chance that one of these sources could replace the missing one? Those of us in the AAWU are not expert at reading the seismic data, but we do endeavor to learn by following the ones on your web page for active volcanoes and we check them every day, but especially when we get an alert from CIMSS or see something suspicious in satellite data. -- Cheryl Cameron Geologist, Alaska Volcano Observatory Alaska Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys voice: 907-451-5012 fax: 907-451-5050
