I lived in Anchorage between 2008 and 2013 and my first experience of the work done by AVO was during the 2009 Redoubt Eruption. Later I visited the Anchorage offices on a school trip and was fascinated. This year I am specialising in volcanology and environmental knowledges. Previously I have studied the communication and creation of risk. I am particularly interested in the communication of volcanic hazards and remote detection of activity. The work done by AVO is frequently mentioned in lectures and supervisions and I would love to learn from your organisation.
