Hi Michael - The photographs that were taken by an AVO scientist (marked as AVO/USGS, AVO/UAFGI or AVO/ADGGS) are definitely available for use. For other photos taken by private citizens, check the "use restriction" line given with each image. Also, using the "Contact us" link on the website is the best way to reach us - we often don't monitor social media very closely, and I might be on leave, but there is always someone assigned to answer the emails that come in through the website (usually me).
