The non-functioning cameras are in our field repair plans for this summer, and hopefully the weather cooperates for getting all of our tasks accomplished. I expect there are many reasons and problems that effect the cameras and maintenance of all equipment. I wish it were possible to have a camera at every volcano. Perhaps the State of Alaska should see this as a way to promote Alaska by placing and maintaining cameras through out the state.
