About 60 years ago I was out in my farm yard and seen "little black dots" all over the snow...because we burnt woo, I thought it was soot. But on close look they moved. My Mother said they were "snow fleas". Have you ever seen these little critters up there? When I speak of them here, people laugh and say there are no such thing.
