Hi Emma - AVO is composed of three agencies - any prospective positions would be posted on the HR site for the agency hiring for the job (so, USAJobs for the USGS in Anchorage, University of Alaska for the UAF Geophysical Institute jobs in Fairbanks, and Workplace Alaska for DGGS in Fairbanks). I'm not aware of any open applications at this time. Many State of Alaska jobs (Workplace Alaska) require that the applicant be a resident of Alaska in order to apply. The State of Alaska does hire quite a few seasonal workers, but the AVO part of the State generally does not.
