About 2.5 years ago I attended a workshop at the AVO and brought home all of the material from the workshop. My 5 year old daughter was obsessed with the books and pictures!! Almost 3 years later, she still looks through the material and tells people she wants to be a volcanologist when she grows up. One of her gifts on her note to Santa this year is a "volcano patch" from Alaska. We have since moved from Anchorage but she continues to talk about her time there.
