Hi Jeff - I agree, it's one of our better webcams! They are in sturdy cases with thick plastic lens covers - but blowing dust (and sometimes wildlife!) can scratch the covers pretty easily. We try to replace components during fieldwork, but most fieldwork is scheduled for summer months.
