Hello Erin - Summer is typically a very busy time for us, as that is fieldwork time. If you let me know when you'll be in Anchorage or Fairbanks, I can ask if any AVOers are available during that window - but typically, we do not offer any formal tours or lectures. We do have a guidebook of information for teachers available online, which has activities and information you might find useful: http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/99/ If you have specific questions about Alaska volcanoes, send me an email. Thank you, Cheryl Cameron -------- Erin Greene wrote: Hello! My name is Erin Greene, and I am participating in an educational group trip to Alaska this summer. We are each in charge of presenting on specific topics, and I have selected volcanoes and related topics as my area of interest. I am in the early stages of collecting information, and I was wondering if someone would be willing to contact me with additional resources and possible learning activities in which we could participate. I'll be glad to give more information about our proposed itinerary if that would make this exchange easier.
