Hi Susan - The Alaska Earthquake Center didn't show a recent earthquake near Fairbanks for Sunday morning: http://earthquake.alaska.edu/earthquakes , so I'm inclined to blame military exercises at Ft Wainwright. (I also live in Fairbanks and experienced some large booms over the weekend.)
