Hello Roger - Due to sustained, multi-year reductions in funding, we can't get out there to repair the Little Sitkin seismic network. So Little Sitkin is now without ground instrumentation and is monitored only by satellite imagery. (other networks that are no longer operational include Ukinrek Maars and Ugashik-Peulik.) It is our hope to concentrate the funding we have on Cook Inlet volcanoes and those Aleutian volcanoes nearest population centers.
