This fall I'm teaching a 4-week-long environmental geology course and I was wondering if anyone from the AVO would be interested in giving a guest lecture, and/or if we could visit the AVO facility for a tour. We have a day set aside for hazards related to earthquakes and volcanic activity in Alaska in late August and I think it would be a valuable experience for the students to hear from someone who thinks about these topics on a daily basis.
