Hello Marianne - It's that time of year when optimal atmospheric conditions make the vapor plume of the still-cooling 2009 Redoubt lava dome visible, especially on clear days. Yesterday's webcam images of Redoubt show a small vapor plume. We have no anomalous seismicity or satellite imagery of Redoubt. Thank you, Cheryl -------- Marianne Schlegelmilch wrote: I am in Homer. Yesterday I saw a narrow, straight up plume over the Homer Bluffs in the area where I saw a similar one the year Redoubt erupted. It was around 4 pm. It was at least as tall as the bluffs only above them of course. It dissipated over about 15 minutes and the wind caught it and made it drift sideways. I wondered if Redoubt is acting up again?
